We acknowledge that God's word is confirmed when our prayers are granted. Of course, God said to ask, and He would grant it to us. Right. Our hearts are ablaze with joy, and it appears to be like a dream being at the center of our answered prayers. We become more grateful to God and confident in Him, knowing that we can trust Him again and again for other things.

We are starting to feel like we have a particular way to reach God's heart, to the point where we can practically tell others to send in their prayer requests. We also learn that we can also put our faith to use by setting God a deadline and have everything go as planned.

Knowing that God answers your prayers fills you with such pride, and it is a source of joy to know that the God you serve never lets you down. When that happens, you'll be seeking His face for a variety of reasons. Truthfully, it's truly an amazing experience to see God answer your prayers. But how do you describe when you’re on the other side.

Then one day you find yourself in prayer for something that is important to you, such as job, marriage, mail, visa, child, healing, breakthrough, salvation of a loved one, ministry, finances, etc., and it appears that your prayer was not answered. It’s starting to resemble a term you're familiar with “Wait on God”.

I have had to wait on God for a variety of things (admission, Job, healing, financial provision, etc.) and I am pretty sure you can relate as well. I am currently in a waiting season, and I can testify that it is both a crazy and beautiful place to be. It is simple to say that waiting on God is a good thing, but in reality, that journey is not always easy. You feel as though you are standing on a thin line and have no idea how long it can support you. You have a lot on your mind. You offer your best through prayer, fasting, and meditation on His word. In fact, maybe you have some believers interceding for you. Still, nothing yet. It is challenging. I know!

You have prayed for other people, and soon after, they return to you with the results of your prayers. You start to wonder if you have a different father. Does God even hear me? Do I sound loud enough? We experience all of these and may want to give up believing that God is listening to us or communicating with us because He has not answered our prayers yet. You're beginning to feel down and unsure of what else to do. You feel as though you have committed too many sins; therefore, you have repeatedly asked God for forgiveness, you have also improved your relationship with God.  You are aware, deep down, that you possess the necessary faith and that God loves you. Hold on!

This is to reassure you that God is very much with you while you wait. He is still God when our prayers go unanswered as well as when they are answered. Being at peace, if it happens, and also being at peace when you have not gotten your prayers answered yet, is a beautiful place to be. It will happen, and it will be beautiful. If it is God’s will, He will bring you to it. Sometimes He just wants us to wait and prepare, and other times the answer to our prayers might not be what we need at the time. I promise you that God writes a better story. God is making you wait, and it is for a purpose. Trust Him that He will give you the best.

Why do you believe you are doing something wrong to Him when you really did nothing more extraordinary than what you are doing now before He granted you the things you have? firstly, you did nothing special to be alive but He chose to keep you. While you wait, God is still working. I encourage you to prepare because very soon you will be sitting and smiling at the center of your answered prayers.

During the time we are waiting, we can employ these weapons. Prayer and gratitude. We can never go wrong by praying; we should pray constantly, and no prayer is ever wasted. Choose gratitude because everything is made perfect in God's timing. He knows what is best for you.

Or maybe what you wanted didn’t happen at all. I want you to rest in the beauty of his existence—that God is God and God is good. May the truth that God is dependable no matter what we go through penetrate into our souls. Everything, I mean everything, will work for our good because I am sure God will work it out in Jesus name.

I am learning to enjoy every journey with Abba and I hope you do so too. 🤍

Prayer.

I wait on God and I will not be ashamed.

My strength is renewed day by day. I am not going to get tired.

While I wait for the answers to my prayers, I am prepared.

While I'm waiting, The Lord will trust and use me for His glory

I will always be at the center of God’s will,

It will surely come, It will not delay.

Amen

Lamentation 3:25 NKJV

“The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, To the soul who seeks Him.”

Psalm 52:9 NKJV

"I will praise you forever, because you have done it. And in the presence of your saints, I will wait on Your name, For it is good."
