My Gratitude list

I had a different start to the year than normal because I didn’t have so much expectations like I would have in the previous years. I was at peace and just wanted to know what God wanted me to do and what would please Him. In the process, I started to see beauty in everything and in each day. I was inspired to keep a gratitude journal at the beginning of the year and titled it "365 days of gratitude." It's been great; it makes me more grateful and help me see the bright side of everything.

The year is almost over. Irrespective of everything, I am still grateful to God. It’s not even about the huge things. This time, I am grateful for the little things. After a busy day, I arrived home to realize my roses had already bloomed and it made me smile. I was amazed that something as little as a plant could make me smile. To me, it was a sign of hope. It’s funny how we always long for the huge things, the big dreams, the big miracles before we live and appreciate life. Even the little things are miracles too, the little things in each day add up to huge blessings. They may not appear to be significant but I choose to be grateful to God for everything.

Here are some of the miracles I am grateful to God for.
